Job-e-Tunities

ManusVRTraining / Education

Job-e-tunities is a VR simulation application built for a rehabilitation institution. The goal of this application is to measure cognitive abilities such as memory and concentration to determine reintegration possibilities for individuals with acquired brain injuries. VR allows for the creation of a reproducible and immersive environment to examine how people would respond in real-life situations.

In the simulation, multiple customers approach a counter to place orders. Some products are automatically refilled, some need to be manually requested, and others have to be manually prepared. Throughout the simulation, the user is distracted by noises from the kitchen or their fellow employees to test if they can resume their tasks effectively.

This project was developed as a solo effort. Art assets for the environment, interactables, and characters were purchased, and the audio was generated using a custom plugin with Google Text-to-Speech.
